    About “Linda McMaken”

    1. Linda McMaken

Fortunately for readers my characters lives are much interesting than mine Although, like the characters in my books, I have had a few tractor incidents in my life, and a nasty encounter with a bull, and there was that little tiny problem with the fireplace but the house is still standing most of it bestselling author of romantic comedy.

    2. As with the first book in this series, Baer Truth, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and did not want to put it down! There are a lot of funny and serious moments in this book, as well as a lot of rain and mud.The romance in this book is between Joe's brother Connor and the Mc Ivey's daughter Jessie. They have moments where they aggravate each other and others where they realize they are in love. You will not be disappointed in reading this book. Try it for yourself. I know you will love it [...]

    3. Loved this 2nd story in the series. There are so many laugh out loud moments in this book from the first chapter to the very end. All the cast of characters we met in the first book are back, even the bad ones. We were introduced to some new animals that provide a lot of the funny moments. I recommend reading the first book Baer Truth before reading this one as there is a story arc that is continued from the first one and looks to be concluded in the 3rd book.

    4. Another good book by Ms. McMaken. I love book 1 of the series and this one didn't disappoint. Again she weave a good story in with a great cast of characters and infused it with humor. Can't wait for book three to see how the third Baer falls in love.

    5. The book opens with a bear, a mud-covered mystery woman and being caught in a mudslide. It is fast paced and fun, with delicious romance and another tension-filled chapter in the feud between the Baer brothers and their ruthless neighbor. I thoroughly enjoyed every chapter.
